Canine anime characters - #3 Shinsengumi

Shinsengumi (Gintama): Okita Sougo as Hokkaido Inu, Kondo Isao as Boxer, Hijikata Toshirou as Siberian husky and Yamazaki Sagaru as German Pinscher

Breed choice
Hokkaido inu - not very big breed, looking quite innocent but originaly was used for hunting bears. Even know these dogs share some character traits that imo resemble Sougo.
Boxer - not easy to choose a breed suiting gorilla But boxers are known for having heart of gold and being a bit goofy from time to time.
Siberian husky - those blue eyes! Independent but dedicated to work when they trust and respect the leader. Also as many other sled dogs known for having strict discipline inside pack.
German pinscher - somehow unpopular breed, because they are too small to be feared as Dobermann and too big to be cute Miniature pinscher They fate somehow resemble Yamazaki.

About project
This is something I was tempted to do for some time now  Drawing anime heroes in canine form. I thought it would be fun to search for a breed to match the characters physical features and personalities. From technical pov I will practice different canines body shapes and expressions.
